Fernando Noriega - Owner & Founder
Born in Arequipa, Peru, Fernando began his career in the low-voltage field back in 2006 by doing residential and commercial satellite TV. As technology began to evolve, he began to see a greater need for smarter systems for the everyday homeowner. Fernando began by simplifying the use of entertainment systems for homeowners. SMARTia expanded into audio & video control, networking, lighting control, climate control, smart shades, commercial fire systems, and alarm systems. Fernando has continued to expand his knowledge in smart integration for both residential and commercial needs. “I wanted to create a business where my customers are able to deal with one company for all of their smart integrated needs.” When Fernando is not working, he enjoys traveling with his family, deep-sea fishing, and grilling the perfect steak.
Allen Hobbs - Partner & Co-Owner
Allen was a healthcare executive for 38 years and retired in 2018. Since retirement he’s continued to help selected healthcare companies develop and grow the business by joining their Board of Directors and Advisors. Recently he joined SMARTia as a full-time partner and co-owner. He loves the company’s mission of bringing smarter technology to homes and businesses. He was a customer of Fernando’s for 10+ years and now enjoys being part of the SMARTia team
Felipe Noriega - Field Supervisor
Felipe is an experienced Low-Voltage Technician with a Construction Management degree from Kennesaw State University. He has 7 years of experience in designing, installing, and finding the best solution for low-voltage systems for homes and businesses. Felipe is great at working with people, finishing projects on time, and keeping costs under control. He enjoys staying up-to-date with new technology to ensure the best results are given for every job.
Sam Sikes- Field Supervisor
Sam is a native of Dalton, Georgia, and a graduate of Kennesaw State University. During his time at Kennesaw, he was an active member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon where he met Felipe. Sam began working for SMARTia in 2020 and has since become a well-versed low-voltage technician. He takes pride in his exemplary organizational skills and can-do attitude. Sam enjoys creating and improving unique residential spaces such as home theaters and media rooms. Outside of work, you can find him building computers, playing with his Husky Nola, and collecting vintage vinyl records.
